'Octopus Creek Hot Springs (49°C / 120°F) are located off Hwy. #6 south of Fauquier. They are hard to find and require some hiking and bushwhacking up the creek.' (http://www.adventurerockies.com/hotsprings.htm Link is dead)

Approx. From Canadian Cordillera1 Data - I viewed the waypoint coordinates with my Garmin MapSource and there is a logging road (at N49 52.264 W118 04.809) that almost leads right to the Hot Spring coordinates provided. Turn off hwy6 between Lumby and Nakusp. I have never been there but it sounds like undiveloped wild area according to Hotsprings of Western Canada by Jim McDonald. -GTL-

My MapSource GPX file with the BCFS coordinates from what I found on the BCFS map. May be helpful in finding the actual confirmed coordinates. If you are in the area and looking for these springs.

I highlighted the roads near by in this Garmin file as a "route" it shows two possible access points to these springs.
